WORD FUSE — arcade word shooter

How it plays

• Shoot a drone and its letter flies into your rack, which holds up to eight letters.
• Bank a valid word to fire: three letters make a focused laser, four a spread shot, five guided ember missiles, six a chain strike, seven a formation blast, and eight the full WORD FUSE attack.
• A burning fuse replaces lives. It burns down constantly and enemy fire speeds it up — longer words restore more fuse, so good words keep you alive.
• Special drones add variety: gold wildcards, doubles, ember boosters, armored drones and volatile letters that expire if you hold them too long.
• Words are checked against a full English dictionary stored in the game, so it works instantly and offline once loaded.

Modes and controls

Play the Daily Formation for a seeded run everyone shares, endless Arcade waves, or a Three-Minute Run for the highest score against the clock. On desktop use the arrow keys or A and D to move, space to fire, Enter to bank a word, Backspace to undo and Escape to pause. On phones there is a thumb pad, a large fire button and a reachable BANK WORD control. No sign-up is needed to play.
